Jo, think you should be allowed to do as you bally well feel like! x
We will be having a raggydoll Christmas....inspired by funny cartoon.....all the wonky toys went in the reject bin......that's who will be round our table, the rejects or folks that have no family, have a good feed and everyone feeling welcome and relaxed, except the frantic womble chef!
I'm sure I will pop in here and share a mulled wine with you all for a break and some sanity!
Think the idea behind most religions are good moral codes, unfortunately some have lost the correct interpretation along the way good and bad in all, let's just be nice to folks!
I wondered who would be awake now! SGLily, are you still there? Ive only just come back inside for a cuppa and thinking about lunch. Nearly 1pm here, so maybe you've nodded off. I must admit Hosta got a laugh with his last comment. very clever.
Hubby has been busy in the kitchen this morning making a lemon cheesecake (not baked). I interrupted him to ask if he felt like collecting loganberries to save me a walk down the hill, so he's just got back with a large bowl full. He's planning on saving the best of them to put on top of his cheesecake. He'll stew the rest and make a syrup. Handy for ice cream etc We've been invited to a friends place across the valley tomorrow for a BBQ get together, so the cheesecake is for that. I'll try to remember to get a photo of the cheesecake. Pity I've got to restrict myself to a sliver (because of the dratted type 2 diabetes ).
If the Mods have asked us not to discuss religion then I'm sure I'm fine with that.
However, it seems a shame to block PMs if you get strange/odd/unwelcome ones (other than from Mods etc) then just delete them. Blocking PMs seems to me to be cutting off your nose to spite your face
Lets get on with discussing gardening and the usual stuff, and supporting each other
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Jo - what a shame some PMs have upset you ((hugs))
Looking forward to joining you and Hosta during the Queen's Speech - we could even have a virtual game of 'Feed the Dove' (see the How you celebrate Christmas thread).
