I normally avoid cat threads I've given my suggestions before.
A few days ago I saw a post on FB which might help if you only have a small area. I'll try this in my veg bed until the plants fill out. Plastic forks stuck handle down in the soil at intervals that prohibit a bottom crouching there
My idea, maybe afterwards re-use them the correct way up as plant labels
We have this neighbors cats coming to our garden keep pooing on the grass recently.
Went to local B&Q, and bought the ultrasonic cat repellent for £22 and 2x batteries for another £9 out of desperation. Installed on the grass as per the instruction.
Next day we found huge cat poo in front of the cat repeller. So we are taking it back for full refund.
It is serious health risk, as hundreds of flies are all over the poo, and they will fly into nearby houses and kitchens to infect the food and infect people making them ill.
Cats cats in the front garden and out the back we have tried everything so we got prikker strips to go along top of fence these are recommended as cat repellants well they seem to have done the job in back garden but front area is still used as a cat litter tray cant open windows as it stinks ivevtried bleach chili powder curry powder jeyes fluid to no avail so im going to put the prikker strips under the gravel im not taking gravel up as we like it and dond see why we should it our garden so kittys will have sore paws but at least its a legal way of stopping crapping cats oh and i have a rather large rottweiler who is scared witless of the felines
We are lost what to do next. Tried spraying vinegar diluted with water on the path, but not worked either. We are also trying windows and doors keep closed to prevent flies coming into the house.
Sprinkle holly leaves and/or put short sticks where they go. You could also plant some mature shrubs or perennials there as the cats will lose interest if there isn't plenty of soft earth. I'm surprised they're doing it on the path. That sounds more like foxes to me.
I have shrubs etc we have even put bamboo fencing up against existing fencing thw prikker strips seem to help out the back but at the end of the day its MY garden to enjoy not a litter tray i would not harm cats but there are some people out there so peed of with them ruining gardens wouldnt think about harming them

Hi Mrs Bug. A large cat can always see off a fox if provoked.

my neighbours have just installed a cat scarer in their garden, I was wondering if i can reciprocate with a megaphone blast when they pass my garden?
