We lost 2-0 away at Chelsea but not by as many as I expected for a newly promoted team. 0-0 after 65 minutes and we gave them a few scares in the 1st half ! Overall, pleased with the performance so far - I think we will be staying up this season which is priority #1, 2 and 3!

Philippa, as a football fan (season ticket holder for 6 years until gardening took over) and now a keen gardener, I can say there is definitely a 'season'......just a long one!! I couldn't wait for it to start again so I could spend Saturdays and Tuesdayevening gardening without getting moaned at

I must admit with the World Cup it has felt like year round, but honestly usually there is a break from mid may-ish to August Only 3 months approx but a loooooooong 3 months when I want to garden in peace Probably not so long for non-football fans

I'm very disappointed with Liverpool. Having just offloaded one load of trouble in the form of Suarez, they have now signed Balotelli from AC Milan.
Hope he's been required to give assurances about his commitment & behaviour.

Balotelli is unpredictable David but will likely score some important goals for you. Hopefully not against us though
