Hi Runnybeak, No the tea set is never 'put away' its in the cupboard the side of the fire place.  You can see the wall paper on the photo below it took a while to find that but its a really good match. Mad aren't I.

White lightening and diamond white! Those were the days!image

Afraid i wont see mom til tomorrow (her 60th!) So wont get the recipie til then, all i know is it includes white choc and has a shortbread base- its divine! I think there is cream in it too. I will text and ask her, but the chance of a reply is slim as she will be in housework overdrive! image

    Very pretty Yvie image

Its all true Lily they kept her in with alcohol poisoning, she just kept going until she won.

Diamond white and White Lightning is supposed to be cider, personally I'd be more likely to strip paint with it.

Not read all the posts, but that china is beautiful image

Dimaond White...lethal, anyone else (probably Bekkie or BM although they may be too young) remember 20-20? And what about brandy and babycham, I was very ill at a Beautiful  south concert once because I had been drinking them the night before......had to pretend  I was pregnant with 'afternoon' sickness to get to the front of the toilet queue!!!!

LOL, after I'd posted above I read back some more if the posts and see Bekkie has already mentioned 20/20....... How did I know that Bekkie would be with me on that one imageimage I think it was fortified wine of sorts!! My parents were very strict with me, until I met OH and turned 18, I was trying to make a jam butty one night after drinking 20/20 when out with OH (who was allowed to sleep on the sofa as he lived miles away) and I was spreading jam on the work top instead of the bread...mum just told me to clean it up before dad saw it.....oops!!!

Brandy and babycham was THE drink for special events.  Otherwise vodka and lime (couldn't drink it now - gone off limeimage)

I do remember going to auntie's on a Friday and having sugar butties.
