Beautiful pictures everyone. The Meadowsweet is now blooming and smelling gorgeous in my garden. I think it would be perfect in a Summer wedding bouquet.

  • We have a bajillion of those poppy seeds. We were fortunate enough to have them in our old garden so we saved some then and plan to save them every year... here are a couple more pictures:

Beautiful plants The Potsmith - I love your Aquilegia and PoppiesimageI love your Meadowsweet  Gracie imageThe garden is very soggy at the moment - we have been deadheading the front garden today - took ages! I just hope we get a couple of good days before the 22nd or our visitors will think our garden is rubbish.

I will do a video just after our open day all being well image

    Lovely pics!

Thanks for the pea info Lilylouise. I will try those next year. It will do me no harm to experiment with a different variety. I tried a new 'black' mangetout this year, Shiraz.

Wow! Lovely pictures all of you.

Tina5 I'm a few miles from you as the crow flies across the water. I'm near West Mersea! So you must be suffering from all this rain as well. I baled out 10 buckets of water from the edge of one border today. We are clay here and it takes ages to soak away so I thought I'd help the flowers as they were sitting up to their necks in water! WHERE IS THE SUMMER?

    Great pics everyone.

Sorry Dean it did'nt did it. The sun does shine here sometimes ! It has been quite nice here today, perfect gardening weather but was unable to do anything as my 92 year old daddy had a fall and I was with him most of the day.

Keep smiling everyone even on rainy days, things can only get better.......cant they ??

Well, it's horrible weather on and off but the roses are bloomng very well. A shame they sometimes get battered by the heavy rain. The weeds are growing well, too.........image.
