No, sorry, im geting all sorts of things wrong today! I thought you wanted cardoons and wondered if you would accept globe artichoke instead as they are very similar, giant thistle type things image

I was after a cutting/seeds of cedrus deodara, but i think that is pushing my luck!

Unusual veg, but not tomatoes too, i dont really have much on my wish list at the moment as im trying to re-do at least the ornamental beds as they are a bit of a mess!

I started this thread to organise what seeds will be wanted so that i, and others know what not to throw away! I just dont have room to collect and store everything! image

Will earmark some artichoke seeds for you, looking at the flowers, i reckon a month or so til the seed is ready (weather permitting!), they are very big plants, how many are you thinking of growing? image
  • Noi don't have any cedrus in my garden ...I have enough problems without planting a tree under which nothing will grow!! But Thankyou for the seeds/roots just a couple or three is all I was looking for as there is very little room in my garden too.

    Thanks GFimage

I only have the blue/lilac globe but I don't know if it is going to flower anyway- the bud is very small. I haven't any agastache- well I have, I grew a few from mixed seed but they are small and have no sign of flowers. I've killed two black adders trying to overwinter themimage

If any of these can be grown from seed and are true from seed (I don't knowimage) I will have scots thistle, eryngium jos eijking, eryngium bourgatii and globe thistle which I think is taplow blue.
