A cake with cherries in has to be one of our 5 a day!
And chocolate is made from cocoa, and cocoa is made from beans - that's another of the 5 ................... and I've got a slice of lime in my Campari .......... we have a very healthy diet don't we?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have to say I used to belong to another forum, but it was a nightmare, people were very rude about people's thoughts on what a plant may be, and what to do, and most the time it felt like i was a child from a divorced couple who were arguing all the time. Such a contrast to this lovely forum !
I wouldn't be making my garden into what it is without everyone on here, your patience (oh no peanuts not another daft question, may be thought but is never said ). I have in the last week started a Facebook group for local gardeners to ask advice, give advice, share plants and seeds and find out more about gardens and local offers on. I had to channel my obsession, sorry passion somewhere.
Anyway a week in and we have 100 members. I certainly wouldn't have had the confidence to do something like that without all of your positive advice and support. thank you !
I think both of those instances mentioned have made me realise what a great 'group' this is, but also the general sense of caring. This week I have had a bit of upset and the messages from some of my 'friends' has cheered me up no end.......thank you everyone
Thanks for the cake David....you're the best with super cake and sweet pea advice
More Pimms anyone? I don't have a borage plant, maybe I should get one I have mint in it, still grown by me
Help yourself peanuts, I think everyone else has gone to bed part from us and Lily on the Forkers thread It's not my suggestion about the Borage, I can't remember who said it now, Nutcutlet maybe? I've never used Borage with Pimms, in fact if I'm honest I've never used borage I'll have to have a look and see what can be done with it

Lily - don't mind at all, but (wiv me chef's hat on) I have to say cherries & chocolate compliment each other well....which is why I used them.

It's also the quality of the jokes here that makes this forum so good. Second to none...
