Geoff decorating not finished ceilings next image but I must say our sitting room is looking so fresh and no disasters yet.. I hope your not flooded down there I suppose thats the one plus of living at 1100ft. My lupins are flattened this morn with the rain but if thats all Ive to complain about Im lucky I say.

No floods here -must be the sandy soil and can always push any water out to sea with my gigantic broom.

We have an injured rook in the garden with a damaged wing-what should we do?

Flo you owe me a slug then but no rush-don't use the pigeon

Well are we all geared up for the big game?-I can see me pacing about like an expectant father.

  • Don't wish to whinge and only post here because it's where most of the peeps I know from the old boards hang out, BUT (there's always a but) .....does anyone else notice the lack of (not always) of a simple thank you when you've taken trouble to help someone on this forum.

Yes I have as well- I find it irritating that some do not pop back to say thanks -how difficult is and bearing in mind a response e-mail is sent out

Rude and somewhat ignorant is my take on it-I have said before if  I say thanks not only is it appreciated but also makes me feel I can ask a question again

It is not everybody as you say David but it does seem to happen a lot

  • Thanks, Geoff....praps I'm not turning into a Victor Meldrew then!
