There is a car boot sale in Farnborough that starts at 11am every Sunday - quite a civilised time. Plus some of it is under cover. I think jumble sales seem to start at 2pm so that they can serve tea and cake as well (and probably make more profit on that than the jumble!) I have tried putting things in those charity bags but half the time they don't come back and collect them.

Kate, I'm sure Geoff has bedding to spare!

I will never retire? oh now I'm depressed image

    Hello.

Have taken delivery off the 'parcel' OH organised.

Snarled, nicely, via txt, to daughter, about some paperwork she's removed- ok was planning to do a reply to a letter behind her back, so fair's fair!

Somehow (?) managed to completely hide/mix up my unopened e-mails! Complete panic, but all now sorted.

The little squirrel has gone for the bird food again, so have a window open & bang a tin tray when I see him. Have water sprayer to hand as well! Can see me going to GC to get a new squirrelproof feeder sooner than planned.

Well that first tennis match didnt last long, now Murray. Cant seem to work up any enthusiasm this year.

Have washed all the jam jars ready- wishful thinking? I really only need to do raspberry jam this year. Have been know to pick those in a thunderstorm in the past.

The sun ahs been out for a while now- hmm, do I bother? J.

We are having a short pain shower so have had to come in againimage-well I hope its short-Andy is on court

Have you got an unloved spade Lottie?image

No I dont get to go outside- BIG splats again!!

The sawfly also got my new Solomons' Seal plant!!

I've got several spades- my border one, Mum's & one I think must be my Grandfather's as it's really big & heavy with a solid old fashioned wooden handle. Way too heavy for me to use, but cant get rid of it.

Think shall find some long overdue mending to do & watch the tennis. J.

I am on a bit of elastic-now back in again-what a gay day.

Going back to Maud's post earlier-if you were a Mr Humphries or a Mrs Slocombe and worked in a dept store what fun that would be -I so want there to be a PC World working in the Met

I very much want my spade, thanks. I have a fork with bent prongs if anyone wants it! - serves me right for buying one from Wilkos.

I dug up some volunteer potatoes at the plot today, and got quite a nice little crop! Glad I left them now. Any suggestions as to what I can put in the space?

Wish I'd made strawberry jam now as some of the strawberries ended up going to waste. Maybe next year.

My watch strap broke last night - the pale circle on my (quite brown) wrist looks very odd.

Lottie-you are no help in times of crisis-my FIL's spade is in the shed-but in a safe placeimage

What you should is draw some numbers on your wrist and tell people it is a new digital watch-what about salad crop?

Right that is it!! -I WILL NOT buy any more plants this seasonimage
