What Hampton Court program? And I missed the Hidcote one too!!

Rain has arrived here again, but have very, very, quickly cut the lawn, chopped back a large poppy, planted out a couple of plants, complete with copper rings around them.

Flower- I've no job either to go back to, once all this is over. My 'work' finished just as I got diagnosed with the cancer. Doubt shall be allowed back soon anyway & then who will want a 'grumpy old woman'? May get driven to return in desparation though, as OH muttering about semi-retirement & working from home!image

Not interested in ladies tennis. Oh heck the shopping, including fridge stuff still on hall floor, byee for a bit, J.

Jo-Hampton Court programme this morning- there are two others later in the week in the evening.

I have today dead-headed the iceberg and cut the straggly rose that only flowers once right back-OH "supervised"

Saw 4 dirty great liners- there are 3 more round the corner- the morning fly-past was cancelled

Found the 2 evening progs & timer set!

Our Tatton tickets have arrived. OH is coming with us for the first time!! You should hear daughter's mutterings!image Just as long as he doesnt decide to come back home on the morning of the show- we always leave really early, so as not to get parked too far away from the exit. We then havent far to walk back to car for our traditional M&S picnic, plus at the end to carry any purchases. Mind you if this weather continues, it'll be wellies again for walking round. Even the boardwalks get muddy. J.

Geoff why are the liners not in the bins?

Jo surely OH will be carrying your purchases and the picnic and the chairsimage

Now you are just being silly-they are tom cruise liners and are moored apart.

Glad it wasn't just me being shut out of the website. It sometimes takes a while to get on here and I thought the weight of all the posts had crippled my computer entirely.

Paining all day, dog grooming wasted as he is now filthy and wet. He's got a tick on his nose and won't let me near it. He's tried to bite me three times now.

Went to launderette, nothing untoward. There isn't a launderette in The Archers for bad things to occur so I think I'm safe.

Geoff, presumably the Wet Arrows have had to call off the evening flying too :- (

Flo -you are not living in Ambridge

I notice that plummy Paul Clifton had bagged another spot on a ship to report from-local news is woeful at times

I have to put the bins out but don't want to go outside-Wombledon may have to go into a third week-should I start queuing now for Monday?

Kate, I was feeding him cheese but needed another hand to hold the fur away and a third one to operate the tick removal device. May ask OH for help but he gasps and twitches and we achieve nothing!!

Geoff, how do you know I don't live in Ambridge? Did Monty say something?
