Back from Christmas in the close. 3 glasses of bubbly - the real stuff-later. Actually we all get on quite well and Have put in a lot of effort into making a comumunity. Long story. I tried to take photo of our tree, (the tree in the close) we light it very year but the camera didn't like the idea.
Thank you for the kind comments about the dolls. They have been difficult, and they are only dolls! The quizzical expressions is because they didn't like the language when I was doing their faces - bit like the smiley faces really
I think those dolls are brill-----I'm sure they will be treasured for a long time.
Did my final shopping today--for food and champagne--and baked some little quiches to freeze. I have really overdone it on the baking,however--my niece will have a lot to carry home! It's really quite fun to have Christmas at home for a change!
Sloshed my way through squelcherama to feed the birds, and more heavy rain is forcast, to last all day. At least it's warm rain. If all of this had fallen as snow we'd be 20 feet under. (But snow requires cold Northerly winds to make it happen).
Double dose of SCD to look forward to tonight, from 6.30 till 10, with Merlin in the half-time break. All of my shopping and other jobs have been done, so this seems like the real start of Christmas for me. Will be breaking out extra chocs for tonight's shows.
This gangnam video has been flagged up by the media this morning, Those taking part mention lawn-mowing and cats. Don't know if any dancing forkers were amongst them...
Morning all. Had a lie in as It's Christmas weekend.
Love the dolls Bjay and lovely photos of Rocky , Glyn.
Had my first Christmas pressie this morning - The nuthatches are back. Bought some sunflower hearts yesterday instead of the seeds so maybe they have a liking for them.
Persistently paining here, moat round front and side of house, loo won't flush, can't run dishwasher or washing machine Dogs are dripping all over the floor even though they only popped outside for the necessities of life.
Looking forward to SCD though I'm out at a performance of The Messiah tonight (assuming Noye's Fludde doesn't prevent us) so will have to stay incommunicado until I have caught up.
