Yes Jean, I was umming and arring about swapping the whole package, or just the TV as I'm quite happy with the broadband with BT, and it doesn't really matter who my landline is with, as I never use it. It isn't even plugged in. In fact, I haven't a clue where my home phone is. Probably upstairs in a box.
But as I pay BT £64 a month, and this new package will be £48, I thought I'd give it a go. Plus, I like all my providers in the same place, if you know what I mean.
You wonder where these phrases come from-has anybody seen anybody- let alone grandmother's sucking eggs- perhaps they have to take their teeth out first?
If you go to Incommunicado on Friday Becks we shall be worried about what is going on
Yep - I can see the logic in that Becks . We are still with AOL for broadband but it suits us . Never had any probs with it. Thought about another supplier but Hubbies philosophy - if it ain't broke dont fix it
Just posted a message, as I did flashed up web site not available so no message posted.
Got to remember what i wrote.-
Jo when i go swimming, it is a group of 'crocks' with bodies that don't work properly. one of the folk i talk to has just finished chemo and her feet, especially the toes don't feel The swim we go to has a nurse, physio's and a swimming instructor and have just been nominated for some sort of award.
Great fun too.
We are spread about with media - BT phone, Virgin broadband, Freeview TV. It may pay us to - here's another one- put all our eggs in one basket, but I think it all works why change it.
Well, It's only the TV box, thingy majig that's being installed on Friday, providing the Sky card comes through the post in time so it can be activated . The phone line and broadband will be another couple of weeks apparently, and yes, I will have to phone BT to get a MAC code, but I can't do that until they give me a call to tell me to do it.
I knew there was something techie-the only thing wrong with putting all things in one place is that if something goes wrong you lose the lot-nowadays stuff is so much more reliable that in the days of valves and transistors-but when it goes wrong it seems like a disaster
