Well that's Jess just gone off with her Auntie Angie to the National Forest Adventure centre! I have until dinner time tonight to myself! image

Yes Geoff. Bit of a spur of the moment thing really. He knocked yesterday (as they do) asking if I wanted to switch. Well, I'm fed up of BT Vision to be honest, cutting off and sometimes going down for hours, so I'm going to give Sky a go. image

    Afternoon all.

This little notebook had a woobly, again, first thing. Must try & find the bumph as not yet 12mts old, just in case....

I too sometimes find the site v e r y slow, am with Firefox & XP, I think!

Have done a food shop to last up to w/end & got some petrol. Problem- had pulled up at 'pay at pump' one. OK inserted credit card & thing said was was accepted, filled up, but had removed card & could I get a receipt? Noway. Big q behind & at kiosk so made note of cost & drove away........am now quietly wondering all sorts...

Had coffee at next stop & came home. Wet out there, cold still, but no frost this morning. Will resist heating until later. Just add extra layers again & try & keep busy. J.

Well Becks -you have to try these things-one word of caution-be careful what you agree and sign to-grandmother eggs sucking and all thatimage

Jo-I wouldn't worry unduly-the customers behind would not be able to cash in on your card once you put the pump back in the holster that ends that transaction-I quite often find the receipt bit doesn't work

You are likely to be using Windows7- if it is only a year old.

    Cheese and picallii sandwiches nowimage

Geoff, all is fine! I haven't signed to have any grandmothers, or anyone sucking eggs for that matter, installed! Just the TV and broadband. imageimage

That's me sorted for another couple of months. Geoff it was a rather large needle and my arm hurts now image but well worth it image - I'll be doing bungee jumps in a few days image Flu jab tomorrow and dentist on Thursday - I'll be as fit as a fiddle and Geoff. I love reading EVERYONE'S posts on here image They brighten my day !

Going to daughters in a bit - her boiler has just conked out Hope its just something simple- that's all she needs.

Lottie, I have a very sweet tooth. Munching midget gems as I type. image

Dove. hope you feel better soon.

Chris , I'm sure it will be worth the effort - it will look lovely when it's finished image

At least you had a good time last night Bjay - would have been worse if you had to have your injection yesterday as you probally wouldn't have enjoyed last night so much imageTake it easy on that foot.

Beck's we are with Sky. The thing I like about them is that if you have any probs you can ring them up and threaten to cancel. They then bend over backwards and give you a free month or something .

This election is getting on my nerves now, Wish they'ld hurry up and get it over with.Just seen Bruce Springsteen with him. image

Thanks Jean for putting foot on a positive note.

My foot problem has been going on for nearly 2 years now and I am very fed up with it.  It is very restricting with activities and social life. Have to rely on OH if I want to go anywhere image

Still have bulbs to plant etc.

Bjay, just posted about fuschia cuttings on weather thread.

Feet not fun. Mine still recovering from effects of chemo.

Now have toothache & know must get it sorted, but am being a real wimp these days. Have too much going on has been my excuse, but now needs must I think. Ironically when on chemo dental work not allowed & absolutely no problems. As chemo over the niggling grumbles have returned- joy! J.

Thing is Bjay , if you don't rest it , it will take twice as long to heal. image That would set you back even longer. Could OH plant your bulbs for you if you supervise ? I see where you're coming from . it must be so frustrating but try and rest it. Me and you could make a fine pair of pin cushions !!! image

Becks If you are around meant to say we don't have broadband with Sky . There has been a few problems around here with it but think it's the area where we live. We also have problems with signals on mobile phones for some reason . image
