Morning all, running late today, didn't want to get up! OH poorly with a man flu. Poor Kate, is she doing part time or full? She will be exhausted, it's hard going Have a good day all.
Morning everyone , No frost here this morning - it must have clouded in overnight as it was very white when we went to bed. Haven't felt the need to put the heating on yet either as it doesn't feel that cold,
Geoge, you have a very inquiring mind. I would love to attend one of your historical talks - you analise everything. I look forward to your posts,
Pam, lovely veggies as usual
Hope OH recovers soon Glyn - nothing worse than man-flu
Quid tidy up and off for jab . Have a good day everyone.
Have just had to nip into town to drop OH at swimming-first real frost this morning -car so coooooold-there is another big cruise ship in ready to leave -might stowaway
Flo-I would use Firefox and you can add adblocker to cut out annoying adverts
Jean -if you are asked about a tiny prick-don't laugh-I feel hurt about you looking forward to other people's posts
Glyn -don't work too hard
Pam-do nothing-I probably will-nice butternuts
Video of the day-a cockatoo called figaro who makes a tool to grab nuts~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning all, cold here too and the first time I've had to scrape ice off the car and use windscreen heaters.
Having said I wasn't going out last night there was a change of plan. OH was home earlier than expected so we decided to go and see Skyfall. I enjoyed it, OH said he enjoyed it but was a bit disappointed, probably because its been so hyped up. Anyway, no spoilers from me!
Time for another coffee - one, because I want a coffee, and two, because I need to warm my hands on the mug!
Food diary is going well, but is evidence of my sweet tooth!
Hope you are well. Very busy here still decorating it has taken far longer then expected. New plaster needed 4 coats, OH temper getting frayed, mainly because I keep telling him he's missed a bit. hopefully we will be finished today. Have booked gas man for tomorrow to fit 2 new radiator thermostats, as the originals are kaput, and they said they will do the annual service at the same time. Might as well get it all over and done with while they're here
I'm afraid I had to skip through all yesterdays post, far to many to read properly, you were a busy lot. I was interested in the Ramoska cooker, I toyed with the idea of buying one some time ago, but went for a halogen oven instead.
Definitely soup weather today, cold and miserable. I made a big pot full yesterday, so it should be even better today.
Morning all - back from hospital. I thought they might say don't want to see you again (wishful thinkingnon my part), had a big injection in my foot- he said no gardening for 48 hours, and no jumping, landing on it for 8 weeks. No driving just as I'd started doing it again. Later today will need pain killers Doc said
Bonfire was agreat success. All except usual 2 houses turned up. No 1 apologised for the portaloos. They thought they would go in back garden and said they were embarssed Toffee apple muffins were a great success.
Hard to keep up with last night
Remoska - thought about it for caravan but changed mind
The lurgy seems to ave struck again
Cavity wall success
Frosty every where I think
Great squah - which variety?
Thinking about a squash raised bed next year with cougettes and patti pans. Is it feasilble
Sad canary tale
An old headmaste of mine really did get locked in stationary cuppboard. No one could find him for ages. He retired not long after!!

Good morning - a second day on the sofa with the Strepsils for me.
At least Timeteam's interesting this morning - they're digging up a lovely garden
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Have just remembered the estate-agent is coming this afternoon to give a valuation-feel strangely full of trepidation
Morning lovelies!
Maybe kate has been locked in a stationery cupboard, as part of the school welcome/initiation by the kids.
Just had a text from Sky. Switchover is going to be Friday. I've heard about these switchovers. Not all go smoothly.
Have I missed something-switch over to Sky?
