Yeah, we went last year. Won a family day pass in a competition. But compared to what it was when I went when I was a teenager, I found it has got far too big, and spaced out between the various themed areas. We never saw half of it, and there wasn't much for kids Jess's age. She ended up going on the same rides over and over. For the price, I wouldn't rate it as a great family day out.

The towers were amazing though. I love stuff like that. image

I suppose it depends on the age of the family?

Chaps like the rifle-ranges at fairgrounds-brings out the hunter side

It is 3.30 and there are fireworks going off-seems a bit oddimage

Big pause in the sorting here, OH asleep on sofa. Well we've really cracked on today & should all be proud of ourselves. Daughter's back now playing up too, mine was first thing this morning again.

I've got to sort out some 'posh' clothes for OH soon. He's got a business trip & dinner later this week. He wont have a clue what's what in his wardrobe. No sense of style, but then you could put me in a designer outfit & I too would just look a mess. J.

Just remembered, cavity wall men coming tomorrow and haven't moved any of the pots  image It's too dark now so I'll have to nip out first thing. Brrrrrr. ! They have said between 11 and 1 00 so I have a bit of time.

Not looking forward to it but if it helps to keep the heating costs down then I suppose it'll be worth it.

    Last Downton tonight. image
