    Complete mystery to me.

Rain again here. Thought it'd stopped/passed over earlier. OH wants to have a picnic tomorrow, daughter panicking about a work deadline so grumbled about picnic idea. OH pointed out t'was Father's Day & he wanted to go out!!

Tennis still on- I no longer have remote, so quite surprised about that!

Did a whole load of sorting out yesterday- carriert bags of 'stuff' that we'd got from when cleared Dad's house last year. Lots of laughter & tears but discovered various original birth/death certificates that will be useful should daughter continue with the family tree sometime. Also now know where my grandparents are buried- just assumed somewhere else, so that's good.

Tonights' meal to start sometime soon. We also had cheese & tomato toasted sandwiches for lunch. J.

This is 90% his, there must be at least 8 different climbers. It looks lovely but this gusty weather is making me nervous.

    Strange looking zinniasimage

This is neanderthal mans fence isn't it about to fall on your garden-I would trim it back to the top -but there is not much else you can do other that put in extra supports to brace the fence

The reason I do not have large climbers is because I do not want to maintain them yet you are suggesting I do his when he has a gardenerimage The other issue is I have a flower border underneath so difficult to get to his trellis. OH has a hedge trimmer, can he do a brutal cut? Who pays for the wood to provide the extra supports?

Jo did you get the choice on Mothers day? I also had hours of entertainment reading the carrier bags of my grandmothers stuff.

Sausages and roast potatoes for dinnerimage

Do a brutal cut-obviously you are stuck about what is growing on the other side-his gardener does not seem that capable in my opinion

If you had a nice neighbour these things would get sorted

Broad beans and bacon today-roast chicken tomorrow

I always wonder how he was planning on maintaining it? His gardener just seems to do a dainty trim it needs proper pruning.

Have you really planned tomorrows dinner? Is this a fathers day treat?
