bjay-I last went yrs ago- drooled over the place. Know it's been on GW in past, but have vague memories of it changing in some way. Memo to self- check it out before down to that area again!

Now parents both dead it does feel weird not hving to go down the M6/5 regularly to visit.

Some people cant read! image Note stuck on door saying someone sleeping & dont disturb! (postie got note about trying garden! & he knows anyway). So what does some bloke do? Ring the bell not once but twice!! I was blazing & even more so when I relatively politely said not require his tree services as have reliable surgeon that I/we use! Would he accept- no!!

Ok we inherited a columnar GInko, which wont get any wider, nor really much taller, as over 40yrs old. Phone wires to next door are, now, well away from it. Adjacent holly & Escallonias all fine at the mo too. As usual I asked if he knew what the very tall thin tree was- of course not, so firmly shut the door........

Just got message re nurse visit tomorrow, someone I 'know 'from previous so that's good. Now just wonder if OH coming back tonight, in which case he's not got any tea as daughter & me have something he dislikes.....was expecting him tomorrow as usual, but with it being daughter's birthday...

    Definitely off out now.J.

    Afternoon lovelies!

Dull and dismal here. Absolutely no plans for today as my back is still giving me jipp! Tablets taken, tidy up madams mess, coffee and a film I think. image

Are your very exciting, do themselves up, state of the art laces here yet Geoff?

I now also have lower back pain and knee joint pain-some people put this down to the weather-creaking joints etc-but I am not sure that is scientifically proven or it is just stuff that happens.

I have an eye open for the Postman- but not here yet-due any moment now-what happened to post arriving at brekkie time?

For anyone with back-pain, who finds it difficult to bend down, then self-tying laces are essential.

I thought that's what Geoff had ordered, because he couldn't get them from a normal shoe shop.

Still wandering in the wilderness. ISP says I'm now fixed so it must be the router. Will now have to call on St Simon the computer-geek bro-in-law to see if he can work a miracle.

Can't catch up but do hope all lurgies are soon banished.

Well, I've got my hands on Paranormal Activity 4, but that's a night time film. Also had Poltergeist 3 come from Love Film, but again, night time viewing. Not sure what to watch. image
