Having been previously described as a witch for my aromatherapy potions, I just don't think you are taking Halloween seriously forkers. I can see I need to get my broomstick out and come for a midnight visit next week.
Pleased to see that a lot of forkers are/were up bright and early this morning.
My Mushroom of the Day is a bit of a mystery mushroom. I'm not certain that is it a mushroom...
It was a few metres away from the red-capped Amanita muscaria. But this one doesn't seem to have a white stem. It seems that something has eaten most of this one. I know that squirrels eat mushrooms.
I'm wondering if this was the hallucinogenic one, and a little squirrel has eaten the lot. I don't know what effect such a large dose would have on such a small body mass. I could not see any animal bodies, or flying squirrels, in the vicinity.
Morning all, Just about caught up on yesterdays posts. Loved the cakes and Eddies pictures - very scary. Also noticed Kate was absent - hope she's on the road to recovery.
Made a BIG mistake last night. Thought I would have a little brandy with hot water before I went to bed to try and ease this stupid cough , then realised the well-known brand of all- in-one medication I am taking stated to avoid alcohol. Went to bed as high as a kite. Won't be making that mistake again. Oddly enough - I had a good nights sleep.
I 'm enjoying Mushroom of the Day but would like to know who ate that one.
Read an article on dodder yesterday. A parasitic plant. Really interesting.

Another drab, damp dank day here today
Well! Three hours into my shift n all is running smoothly! Or have I just shot myself in the foot?
Good Morning Geoff and Glyn

Another dank and dismal day I think
Yesterday I cleared out my dressing table drawers- today my Son is taking me to a Garden Centre
Love the cakes - I will probably have our Grandchildren for a day next week - we could make some spooky cakes

Have a lovely day !

Good morning early birds.
Everyone seem to be up and at um this morning!.
Very dark and miserable here, but not cold, as yet, that's to come tomorrow apparently.
We could get a snow shower over the next couple of days, wonderful
.
I will be going to buy paint, and all the DIY paraphernalia later today so will be parting with quite a bit of cash no doubt
Something has certainly had a go at that mushroom, a good picture though Gary.
Nothing else planned today.
Have a good one.
