UPDATE: Skydiver Felix Baumgartner's first attempt to make the world's highest jump on Tuesday (Oct. 9) from a balloon over Roswell, N.M., was aborted due to high winds that made the daring feat too risky. The project, called Red Bull Stratos, will send Baumgartner freefalling faster than the speed of sound from an altitude of 23 miles (36.6 km) above the ground.
Red Bull Stratos officials have not yet set a date for the second attempt. Further webcast details will be provided as available.

Yes, cancelled. YOU asked me to get it stopped. They got my text!
Yes, I think the Red Bull website has crashed!
At least, it's not talking to me.
Cancelled altogether or postponed till later today or another day?
I thought the balloon had gone up?
Cancelled for today due to wind.
And there also seem to be technical problems with the website.
Postponed as far as I heard. I had to leave the room. He had wind problems.
Talking of that.................................you don't want to know
Beck's-

But had to do a double take myself! if I am honest! Lol!
n on a lighter note! Here is a flower!
Goodnight all!
Hope you do see the Northern Lights, P. Petal. Too cloudy and too far south here.
Fascinating sighting, Figrat. I'm not sure these unexplained things are from other worlds but UFO's all the same.
I think the launch is delayed again because of the wind. Not a good idea to have beans for tea before attempting to break the sound barrier
