Poor Geoff. You'll soon feel more like yourself, we hope.

PP- yes have tried the green bags. Cant decide whether they are worth it or not.

Daughter grumbling about TV but I've got the remote- yay! Am doing her ironing, as well as ours, after tumbling some of her work clothes earlier, so she hasnt got a hope of winning tonight!imageJ.

I got 17 - a few lucky guesses - but don't know which ones I got wrong so can't swot up for the real thing. OH had a similar experience when he took his motorbike theory test and missed passing by one mark; they wouldn't tell him which ones he got wrong! Seems daft to me.

:- D  Becks, I have on one or two occasions in life been given a pineapple by some kind person who didn't know my views on the fruit. Well, either that or they were fed up with me and it was a coded message ;- )

Huge fan of Lakeland though I agree there are lots of gadgets that I can't imagine ever needing! Green bags fab. Useful even out of the fridge. Now we have a store not too far away, I go in there for a bit of a potter every so often. Always come out with a few bits.

Jo, the best song for that job is "Cleaning Windows" by Van Morrison. Has a bouncy, brilliant beat. I've used it for years!

I've just bought 2 fresh pineapples from Co-Op (reduced - 50p). How the heck do I peel/slice them?? image

I grew up in HongKong. Our amah used to peel, core and slice a pineapple in what seemed like 10 seconds flat. using one of those chinese cleavers. Her hands were a blur.

@figrat that has made my day, thanksimage

The answers were on the page under a reveal notice. I am busy memorising them should I emigrate and need to come back.

Geoff thanks for the tv highlights, I will be singing along to Gareth.

Somebody blobbed this morning, So was forced onto the open road, around North Yorkshire n surrounding area's!

Not good out there with bridge n road closures. Having to take huge detours to get to where I wanted to be, and a lot of these not really ideal for taking trucks on!  Thought the day would never end! but endeth it as, and although a long one! Home! Heating on! and my feet up!

Picked up a few pot plants from the allotment on my way home in order to ready for winter.

The Fuchsia's were little plug plants I got from work at the beginning of theyear  and have fared well to be honest! although now going over shall be tidied, repotted n put to bed! and the 6 Buddleja behind are fending for themselves!
