Kate: your poor OH and passenger: hope all mends soon.

Weather forecast was a bit pessimistic.  We've mowed the grass, tied up all the escaped roses and sown some more French beans, so can I watch Rafa in the final of the French Open this afternoon? Pretty please ... ?

    Thanks for the sympathyimage

They said it was going to rain today but still dry, I forgot the beans yesterday must go and sow some now.

It was dry here until about an hour ago and is now drizzling.  I sowed more beans yesterday in the vain attempt to get some to grow.  Memories of last year's wonderful crops keep coming back to haunt me as I look at my empty wigwams.  This year they keep being eaten by slugs/snails or dug up by next door's cat. image

They are the norwegian blue of the bean kingdom.  Ex-beans.  Beans & gone.  Has-beans.

I have sown more beans, I hope that they will not be resting anywhere.

Jack never had trouble with his beans

I have decided to have another go at stratification, I have put 3 seeds in sand, 3 in water, 3 in compost.

I think Jack did have some problems though.
