    Good Sunny Afternoon all!! image

Flo! image Great pic of Geoff!! When's he back by the way?

Jean, do you have all these pics stored on your PC!! image

  • I would say thank heavens he hasn't got his speedos on! That is not the bronzed adonis I was picturing from what Geoff has said!!

I don't do ironing so please send me the ironing guy - am sure he'd feel welcome in my house!

Spent lunchtime picking half a carrier bag full of runner beans, and watering my brassicas with nettle tea, which stank - good job there was nobody else there. Then I picked the snails off them and squashed them.

Can somebody please explain to me why its always sunny on  Monday when I am at my desk and gloomy on a Sunday when I'm at home?? Still it meant I did some indoor stuff yesterday including making 4 courgette cakes, one of which has already been consumed.

Flo we need to save that pic of Geoff for when he returns(I still think he has another week to goimage)

Pam have you ever grown/taken cuttings from a cigar plant? cuphea ?

  • Pam, try this recipe - its almost identical to the one I use but I just throw it all in together in the mixer. Its quite a runny mix and I bake it in a loaf tin lined with greaseproof paper.

Any ideas what to do with a surplus of runner beans? I don't seem to have the knack of freezing them and they end up a bit tasteless.

Kate, I have all manner of strange pictures saved since I joined this forum - a psychologist would have a field day! I think Geoff said back on the 12th.

Flo that would be about right 2 week holiday plus extra days for the spreading of the ashes. I am sure that a psychologist would admire your healthy sense of humour. Twinkle toes news?

Lottie when we were children runner beans were served with clotted cream, could you make a large ratatouille and freeze that? If only I had a surplus of anythingimage
