BTW - back to work? By the way?

Well, had a surprise visit off my Dad and his wife earlier on, always a pleasure! image

Did delay all plans though. Eldest daughter is also here for the weekend, so everything has gone to-pot! Her and Jess are upstairs currently arguing over a games console remote. image

Jean, BTW = By The Way.

Sounds like a house full, Becks. You're going to be busy, but great for Jess to have her big sister there.

Oh, she loves it when she comes, and the pair of them together are so loud!! image But visits are rare now, so we make the most of them before the world of boyfriends/best friends/ fun, and basically anything that's more fun that being at Moms whisks her away for ever! image

Jean I am always looking through books for inspiration but I could do with some recommendations of plants that flower happily through rain and grey skies.

Becks sounds like you have had a fun day.

Yes Kate. Always is when papa drops by. He's mad as a March Hare with the look of Victor Meldrew. But....He has materials for me to perhaps build my own coldframe, so he's measured up, and will let me know what he's got back home in the week! image

I love other people's gardens for inspiration. Hoping to visit a few in my time off over the next 2 weeks. My astilbes and doing really well in this rain.

I'm jealous Becks. I wonder if I could build a cold frame on my hillside? I use the big 2 ltr water bottles cut in half for cloches, don't buy them myself but retrieve them from my neighbours in our shared recycling bin!
