Shall do my best re the chocolate folks! Always ditch nearly empty bottles etc so can return loaded with goodies. Have packed, weighed then repacked & reweighed the cases! All now locked & ready to go, also at an unholy hour tomorrow morning.image Looks as if shall have to do a bit of washing when there, but otherwise no chocolate would be returning with us. OH assures me that he can wear same trousers 3 days running image we shall see.

Temperature there looks as if will be on the rise again by mid week, so I shant feel at all guilty just flopping on a lounger in the garden. Almost at a loss for things to do at the mo as normally am frantic right up to the late evening before, but this time was frantic very early this morning instead! Quite glad to have to sit down for about an hour when nurse here. Cant move much as attached to a drip, so resting is the norm.

Becks- we had guinea pigs for several years. I could still weaken as, although the cleaning out was left to me, of course, they were very entertaining little creatures with very distinct personalities.

Hairdresser coming later for t'others. I need to do a couple of things but will try & get to bed fairly early. What's the betting wont be able to sleep!

OH's hand luggage is on the table in front of me. Since I once left tickets & 2 passports on a table when a teenager, am paranoid about knowing where those are at all times. Nobody ever lets me forget that incident. Poor Dad had to drive me & German penfriend back from coach station in Brum & return to train station to get to ferry in time! I was then REALLY seasick the whole journey & still grotty for 2 days afterwards. BTW still in comunication with German friend -well over 40yrs now & by e-mail of course.

Ooh, better go & do something for tea.

Auf Weidersein peeps (told you couldnt write it!) J.

Wonder if he's lost yet?? image

jo, they're not so bad in cages, kept confined to one space. I don't think I'd mind that. Still not initiating the conversation though! image

    I have some Milky Ways!

Tandoori Chicken Thighs for dinner. Madam won't touch them, so gammon for her.

I'm looking after my grandchildren's guinea pigs and hamster at the moment while they are on holiday. I agree with Jo that guinea are lovely but although hamsters are cute they are active at night so don't think they are ideal pets.

Enjoy your holiday, Jo. You deserve it.

Hello all, I missed saying Bon voyage to Geoff! So many people going off somewhere, hope the weather is going to be good for the next 2 weeks in the Costa del Bacup, although I suspect not. Let's hope we don't get flooded again in tomorrow's slow moving torrential rain.

Rockycat was trying to attract my attention at 4.15 this morning by taking things off my dressing table and throwing them on the floor, he likes to tell me about it at the same time. Can't load photo from iPad, so will go on other computer.

Very wise not to do pets, Kate.

Glyn, I sympathise, at least Pepper can't jump on the dressing table!

    Becks, it's years since I had a MIlky Way. Enjoy ;- )

Jo, gute Fahrt (yes really, I checked!!!)

Glynn  he looks lovely. I quite like the idea of a pet but I have done more than 40 addresses in my adult life so not really fair on a poor cat. I did try to look after a cat of friends who emigrated but he ran off.image

What a beautiful boy, Glyn. I love cats too but can't have one with my dogs - two of them are great chasers.
