Geoff all the experts know that they play better in the second half of the season.

It was the top one liner?

    Jean it looks lovely.

Jean, your fence looks great---" Good fences make good neighbors"--and that acer is a treasure. Glad it escaped unscathed!

imageThanks Inkadog . Just glad it's done without too much damage. Yes that Acer is a lovely little tree - spectacular colour early spring and a real bargain.

Tonight's menu : Dippy egg and chips - need comfort food.

Dan - you will always find me rummaging round in the reduced section in Asda.

Dan, don't mention that name! They have ruined my whole day. Been waiting for the delivery since 10am, finally turned up at 5.10pm. Couldn't get to Post Office, couldn't go in garden in case I missed door knocking. The downside of booking an all day slot.

Jean, fence is lovely. Bet you keep admiring it? I would. I love seeing new things. image
