Another roasting day here - you lot in the south-east are in for the hottest day of the year (or so they say ) XF soooo predictable - the usual xxxx and then a few good acts. I'm with you Geoff - the guy from Asda was the best by far and that young girl did have a good voice but I didn't like the song much. The news is already stating that XF may have found a new Adele. As for the big kick-off with Zoe - sorry , all set up me-thinks.
Off to water while it's cool - there's not even a cloud in the sky.
Geoff, that's quite a trip your planning. I've not been that far south, but I understand that it is wonderful. Is this your first trip to this area? I expect you will be eating lots of exciting French food escargot, fish stew etc and drinking the local wine,Aah I wish I was going to France again this year, one of my favourite places. If I'm not being too noisy, would you mind me asking you why you are going to Amsterdam? is it to get some tulips?
What a night a drunk and uninsured driver crashed into OH and drove off, OH is OK and the damage is repairable but the inconvenience and time and effort is so annoying. The good news is that they have arrested the driver and impounded the car and the cars owner may pay for the damage.
Geoff do tell about Amsterdam
I want XF to show some more of the close calls, we just seem to be getting nutters or sob stories.
How dreadful, pleased OH is OK, could have been very nasty! There are so many uninsured drivers about these days, some people just don't care and as for drinking and driving, well that is the pits Hope it doesn't spoil you Sunday.
It has been raining solidly here for about 6 hours, I have been wanting to catch sight of some meteors since Monday but it has been cloudy every night.
Went out for a Chinese last night for Mother-in-law's birthday, food was gorgeous and worth the £110...
Heads a bit groggy and not being able to cut the lawn is still driving me mad
It is 'ot-Archers on -nothing planned but laziness
Dan -the grass will still be there tomorrow-chillax
Chris -the Amsterdam trip-for new readers-is to scatter MIL's ashes that have been in the wardrobe for 3 years in a container hiding behind the white joggers and all my other fashion boo-boos-she was Dutch-we have been to an area near St Tropez for the past couple of years and have been to Canet before but this is the first time to this resort
Kate-a good and bad episode-I like revenge and people having to pay
Morning everyone else-hello HH from late last night and where is Becks?
Chris it will not spoil my Sunday but Monday will be trips back and forward to the garage, I really feel these idiots should compensate you for los of time and your petrol.
Dan I bet your MIL really appreciates it.
So Geoff laziness who is doing the washing/ironing/ cooking in your house
I have watered and dead headed but it is too hot to do anything else.
Sorry about your OH, Kate. My daughter's car was written off about 10 years ago by an uninsured driver who had driven his mam's car without permission. He took off across the fields with a broken leg. She claimed through the Motor Insurance Bureau which compensates people who are involved with uninsured drivers, so if your Oh doesn't get any joy with the other driver that may help.
Raining again in Cornwall. Glad you further east are enjoying some good weather. I think I might try growing rice next year.
