jo, you're not a duffer at all. All people are different. Computers are just my thing! Yet when it comes to plants, that's propbably easy peasy to you, but I don't know a daisy from a hollyhock!! LOL I even nursed this nettle like a baby, thinking it was a strawberry plant, until it stung me!!!

No, you. Does your local college/council ( latter probably unlikely these cash-strapped days, thinking about it) do courses for PC use etc? Age UK, the charity, may be one place to try as I think they do basic computer courses for oldies. Bet there'd always be someone around to keep Jess occupied too. You never know, by vounteering your services could lead to all sorts of contacts & even a total new career direction. J.
Becks- I know that you wont see this until you get back, but are you nuts shopping on a Friday afternoon when you dont have to? It's absolutely murder around here. Neighbours go about 2pm every week........ J.
