The rain is over the left half -we in the in right half in more ways than one-the lowest temperature tonight in London is foreacst for 21C-kicking odd the duvet timeimage

Our rain has stopped, only for a while I suspect. No movement on chores yet....

Kate- no chance of any moss on your roof is there? Seem to remember you're in a newish build, so probably unlikely. Birds round here hammer away at ours, above my head, sometimes at very early hours in the morning in high summer. J.

  • Getting hotter here as the day progresses, and hotter still tomorrow and Sunday. Probably no duvet at all!

I hate it when plans have to be changed or are not followed through so can sympathise, Dan. My plan for tomorrow is painting a window frame so I need to be at it early, before the sun moves round!

Then I intend to make a courgette cake or two.....image

Kate, see it as your personal morning alarm clock. They are tapping to get you up as they are missing you! image

OMG Jo I keep finding clumps of moss on the path, that would explain it, how do I solve it.

Geoff too hot for a duvet hereimage

Click on the picture bit, as you would to upload a pic, but click the 'an external site' tab. Paste your url in the box, then underneath where it says 'type' click the arrow and choose youtube video. Then insert! Simples. image

It won't come up with the video until you submit your comment on the thread. It will just show a box with the 'Flash' logo on.

That is what I did -and the flash bit came up so I thought it wasn't going to show it-now I understand -will play.

    10 brownie points to Becks
