    Good morning all,

Weather is absolutely atrocious and will be the whole weekend, which means I wont be cutting the grass tomorrow. The thing with me is, I have an OCD in regards to routines, I become very agitated and a complete arse, every thing has to be done at a set time and set duration, depending on task, i.e. Mowing the lawn Start time Sat 11:00 duration 1.5 hours. Cleaning mower Sat 12:30 duration 30 minutes.

This weekend will be the death of me, the past weekends for about 4 months Saturday has been dry, sunny or cloudy but always ideal conditions for grass cutting....... I'm going mad already and ranting thinking about it........ I NEED HELP!image

  • Good morning everyone.

Calm down Doctor-63, not a good way to start the day, I hate to say this but we here in Lincolnshire are going to have a lovely weekend,  at least we were when I last saw a weather forecast.

Will be back later to report on my day out at the Flower Festival, got some pics, In the mean time I need breakfast and a nice cuppa, 2nd of the day.image

    Have nice day.

    Morning all.

Touch of OCD around here too Dan, sympathies..... Any tips for short term memory loss? My usual stategies not working recently.

Rain again here, not too heavy at the mo. Inside tasks were on the cards for today anyway. Hoover reassembled so can now use it. Waiting on call from local mechanic to finalise when he can do my cars' MOT & service, but have a back up plan should things not work out.

Jean- am on 2cnd coffee & just realised forgot to order more when did Tesco. Drat! Still have plenty, I hope, but none in reserve. J.

I have just awarded myself the prestigious title of being the thickest gardener on this site . The afore mentioned villian is now hermetically sealed in a bin-bag.

Gold star please - all prizes will be received with gratitude.

Dont panic Jean, easily done. How many genuine garden worthy plants have we got that are also 'thugs'?

I was woken this morning by birds tap dancing on my roof , why do they do that?

Jean I saw the plant you found it does look lovely, I would not have recognised it either.

Have watered containers, tied up stragglers. tidied up, dead-headed ,having a mini-debate to myself about grass.

Those birds have got happy feet -or the roof is hot and they are hopping
