Well todays one is called Fun To Learn Favourites, which has lots of TV characters in, with a free goody bag which consisted of a box of stickers, bat and ball set and a mini frisby (which nearly went straight in the bin after a too close shave with a tomato plant!), but I dread her asking for a comic. It takes her a good 15 mins to look through/at each one to see what the freebie is, and what's inside. I try and tempt her with the £1.99 ones, but they don't have free gifts.
Range from Postman Pat, Fireman Sam, Peppa Pig, Dora The Explorer, Cbeebies, Octanauts and a whole other bunch of peeps I haven't a clue who they are.
I dread her asking for one in the Co-Op, as there display is twice the size of the one in our local corner shop.
Oh yes, still going strong. They seem to appeal more to boys though. I used to have a comic called Buster. Every Saturday morning I would be woke up by it being posted through the door, and I would run down to get it, then read it in bed. Aaw, happy days.
Gary, perhaps Mrs Mo had other things on her mind. Mr Mo now such a phenonememenenon that he'll be flitting hither and yon and not avaialble to help with double nappy burden

Mrs Mo didn't look very happy.
Becks-what comics do 3 year olds go for nowadays-at 4 squids?

My eldest used to love Postman Pat-he had a woollen Jess without which he wouldn't/couldn't go to sleep.
So nothing much changes 30 odd plus years on-do they stilll do Beano and Dandy?
