I was there paddling along for the Gee :- )

Kate, waves of sympathy washing towards you. Hope it's soon over. Unless you're the one who got married, it can be very dire.

Dragonfly day today. Saw huge stripy job dog walking on the common and smaller reddish job zooming round the garden. No damselflies yet.

  • Kate, as my OH says," he'd sooner chew his arm off " than go to a evening wedding reception, will think about you as we enjoy a birthday "do "at a nice country pub this evening. Have a good evening it might be OK and your hearing should return by about Wednesday. image

I have to admit to being a little scarred about evening does, a few years ago we went to one, where we had to wash glasses to have a drink and they had asked people to bring cds of their favourite music, someone had brought along a cd of punk, we lasted 40 minutes.

Geoff I like those reconstruction shows where they show how the police had a good idea what happened but no evidence and that is why they have to play the long game.

Why does local news always have some tenuous link to a medal winner-I am waiting for a  report that one went on the IOW ferry as a child or their mothers's auntys sister's grandchild best friend once stayed in a B&B in Weymouth.

I remember the Shannon Matthews story where the police got bashed for not finding her sooner when a relative had her hidden way

Kate be warned-there may be dancingimage

Are those Xcountry mountain bikers mad? It. Must have hurt when the rider went over on the rocks, then got bashed by her bike. Rhythmic ribboning much safer!

Lovely egg, bacon and fried bread for lunch, need to keep my strength up for an afternoon of gardening.
