Geoff I think our games legacy nationally will be that more lottery money goes to sports people. My personal legacy will be an acceptance of my complete lack of sporting ability but keenness to cheer people who podiumed beautifully.
Evening all, just caught up on the day's conversation. Been to Bodnant Gardens in Conway for the day after having doc confirm that OH doesn't need a hearing aid. Having experience of living with him, not sure I agree with her! lovely hot sunny day. You would have loved the late summer borders Geoff, reds, yellows and oranges - stunning. Didn't take the camera or would have posted a photo.
Not seen any Lympic action, anything worth watching? GW on to record and just watching running with a cuppa - me not the runners that is
Just popping in for a quick read and to aaaahhhh over photo's of tiny horses. Am sat in the garden in the dark being bombarded by moths.
My Gardeners Delight definitely have blight so they will be for the chop tomorrow. This will be the first time I have ever had it (in ten years), so I suppose I have been lucky up to now. The tumbling toms are in a completely different part of the garden and they still look OK so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
