Good morning all image  Hope you're all warm and safe - no snow here - yet, but the skies look heavy image

Happy retirement Derek image I'll be joining you shortly image

It seems we've got another troublemaker on the Board targetting Brumbull and posting as Brumball.  image I've alerted the Moderator but of course it's the weekend so not a lot will happen. He's obviously done this to try to exploit the 'little local difficulty' we had the other day - I'm sure we're all far too kind, lovely and sensible to let that happen - don't want to be daft enough to play into the hands of a sock puppet!!!

Glyn, it's supposed to not snow tomorrow???? So providing they get the roads sorted today, it might be a possibility to get down there. Trouble is the Staff hills & SMidlands en route.....

Have been reading the paper on-line. Not half as good as actually curlingup on sofa/floor with it. This is not getting any paperwork done.... image

Derek- hope you enjoy your retirement. J.

About an inch of snow over night , windy still so blowing it around , due more as seems the east will get it now , being further east we missed the Cumbrian snow yesterday.

    Happy retirement Derek image

OH working all weekend I'd say so bed stripped and in washer , some cleaning up, log stacking required by fire, then I think il do office work .

Ooh along with Mr Pheasant we have a couple of curlews wandering the field this morning , they must be finding it tough too image

Hoping that they will be able to sort it out when it stops snowing, the wind my still cause a problem blowing the snow around. Still snowing here and the drifts opposite the house now up to the top of the gate and the wall. A few cars moving up and down the road, but not many.

Going to make a nice pan of leek and potato soup later. Then lamb chops for tea.
