...anyway. Cav can go home and have a good cry.

Lots of tennis on now ... just been watching Federer ... just lost a set to some unknown... but I'm going outside to catch the last of the sun.

Should be some exciting swimming on tonight. Final involving serious rivalry between US alpha males Phelps & Lochte; and womens final in which we have an outside chance in Hannah Miley.

There is a hibiscus which is hardy and can live outside but mines the chinese one - I  keep it in conservatory. Poor old Mark - no gold for us then. Bbq warming up lovely evening. Off to prepare salad. Kate - have you pinched it out ?

    That's Hannah Miley.

Kate, please do not put money on any more British certainties - it jinxes them.

Andy is playing tomorrow. Caroline Woz is on at the minute, in fetching red dress (Denmark colours) - playing British hopeful Keoth-a-thong. Ms Thong has just taken surprise first set.

I don't know, you leave the GB cyclists in a good position, go out and bellydance a while then return to find they've blown it! I should have kept watching :- (

Fish, new spuds and assorted green veg tonight, May let OH do one of his sauces to liven things up a bit. I fancy pudding but nothing in. Could do microwave sponge maybe.
