Am actually calming down now. Just consumed an egg custard, my 'treat' for today.

The sun is going, so may actually leave the seed sowing after all, as still cold out there & am well into the swing of shredding old OOD paperwork. It's creating a lot of spare folders/files so no need to buy more, let alone the space at the bottom of my wardrobe. Once daughter fully 'gone' will need to move stuff, & sort as do it, from spare room into what was her wardrobe & the paperwork from my/OH's into the spare. Very theraputic actually.... Byee. J.

  • Know how you feel Jo. I had to pay the balance of our holiday last week and needed a Euro cheque, the cashier took it out of the ISA account instead of the current account, didn't realise until I got home.Thought it was easier to transfer the money back myself than ask them to do it, don't know where it would have ended up. She had to keep asking another cashier if she was doing it correctly, it doesn't inspire you with much confidence. It makes you feel like shredding them.image

Geoff, just be careful on that roof, don't want you falling through.image

Enjoy your day folks, be it at work or in the garden.

    Cheers

It's just spitting with rain here now. Was dumping stuff into wheely bin recycling when realised, so washing now tumbling. I just couldnt be bothered with draping it around various airers. Also someone has a fire nearby. image T'isnt the local pyromaniac- he's been very good since I lost it, after 25yrs of hassle, & shopped him to Environmental health!

Anyway, wont be sowing today, but the bag of shredding will ultimately end up in various compost bins/wormery, so it's a sort of gardening.image

Yes M&S egg custards, almost as good as Glovers'- Chorley market. J.

Just dug over 2nd half of front garden. Come in now to get my breath before I start on bed widening. There is sooo much couch grass think it will have to be binned rather than compostedimage

Well done Bjay. Fancy a quick trip up M5/6 to do some lawn re-edging for me?image

I would put couch grass into council recycling bin. Not fancy my chances of it rotting down fully in my bins as 'cold composting', unlike the councils huge, 'hot' set up.

Am having cottage cheese on toasted panini with ypughurt & fruit for afters. No more coffee til much later- perhaps that's why was sooo ratty! image j.

Got to go and stack logs, anyone care to lend a hand? Lunch will be late.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
