Morning folks! What a difference a glorious sunny day makes! No fireworks, she just wanted my body as a her own personal central-heating! A day full of hope, by the end of it I'm thinking heating will work, and I might have some raised beds done! No nights til monday so I'm good. Regards to retirement, I've figured by the time I get close to retirement, it'll be mandatory to work until dead. It'll be 71 by 2016, another 20 years? be easily 76+. Nope I got another 15-20 years or so, hopefully will have 2 or more properties by then. Then I shall sod off to the philippines (where my lovely wife is from) and live the high life for the rest of my days. Certainly won't be considering frosts any longer!

    Morning all.

Great news Dove!image     I'm not a feminist apart from equal pay for equal work. I like a man to carry my bags (apart from the handbag!), they have more muscle after all. Men and women aren't the same, hurray!, vive la difference!

Light snow shower in the night -2°, but sunny now. Some tomatoes have germinated!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

imageimage Not only have I had the agro of the b boiler- e-mail gone btw, - but now some s*d at bank didnt transfer some funds to the correct account so that 2 cheques written would be honoured!!! That advisor who's just phoned up to tell me that fact has just received - well you can imagine the tone of my reply...... Since same advisor sent out paperwork to me using incorrect postage which involved a visit to sorting office & payment !! you can imagine just how ballistic am feeling at the mo.

Rant over, am going to continue with sorting/shredding some paperwork until it warms up just a wee bit & the sun reaches the greenhouse when I shall go to do seeds & hopefully calm down! J.
