Becks - it used to have a playmate which died a few years ago but she was just as miserable then. She only gets excited if you go up close to the tank and I think that's just because food might be coming her way! She can stay in that position for ages - think she's doing yoga for goldfish .
Jo there are squirrels but I think its more likely to de the daft woodpigeons that haven't realised they can't get heads, bodies on feeders. Or rather they have realised, forgotten and then gone back again, rather like goldfish really
Toy cull is not going well. If I hear 'I still play with that!' again, when I've just pulled an item from the bottom of the abyss I'll scream! I'm going to have to revert to sneaky tactics.

We buried our dead goldfish in the garden and put a little plant there too.
