Sounds like your plan will be taking shape image

OH will to do more structure and has suggested having mini pergola round shed up to greenhouse (my area) so I can plant up posts etc disguising shed, the extension of pergola and bed also is now gong to be bigger and also attach an arch leading to another bed to break the slab of grass up image

  • Just seen the first frog of the seasonimage in the pond, it must be nearly Spring.

Feel sorry for you forkers with clay soil, it's a b****r to deal with. I've got to do a few jobs in front garden so am hoping I don't see neighbours too, you sometimes can't get away, and I really want to get on, but don't want to appear antisocialimage

I'll bring a pork pie for the picnic and mustard, oh and I like scotch eggsimage and a bit of salad,  not too much don't want to be too healthy ,sounds as if we will have a feast.image

Came back from shopping, didn't stay for lunch as my little mare didn't look right this morning, only to find couldn't get back down the track (1km long) and a big tree had blown down in the gale. Had to go and find farmer with tractor and chain saw. Now waiting for vet as mare off colour. Too windy to do much in garden. Should do housework, place looks like a tip, dog hair on floor and friends coming for lunch on Sunday so needs to look better by then.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Bath chair needed Bunnyimage

Has anybody mentioned crisps?-quavers and walkers squares are my favourites especially with pork piesimage-not keen on scotch eggs -somehow the combination doesn't cut the mustardimage

Clay pit - some was top dressed and done before winter but wet weather got in way of finishing it. Next time I get out I am going to stamp a path - it's clay -and lay a couple of old slabs so I can weed central bit
