Thats visitors away it was a pleasant afternoon. They liked my garden I'd say, as much as like art we all have different ideas. My garden has neat grass and edges and very full borders for two reasons I buy too many plants and it saves me weeding.
Im very lucky Geoff we live in a lovely area even if we have to put up with midges from June to October
I think Kate has retired for the evening-watched Indy for the umpteenth time and he won again-the good guys always do.
Jenny I do that as well-the trouble is I think I have swamped plants over the years-it is the survival of the fittest and biggest-my alstroemeria that I bought last year is just showing flower now-the containers in too many cases are still green leaves and no flowers -things still seem weeks behind-when the heat and sun comes they will soon catch up-I hope-but I fear tomatoes are going to be a disaster
Nil desperadum
Have you always lived in Scotland -in the same area?
At last some peace, I really should have gone for a walk last night to find the noise, I gave in at midnight and put my ear plugs in so I could go to sleep.
It looks pleasant here today, hope it is sunny at Pams.
My borders are over stuffed, (keeps the cats off) then I have ruthless moments where under performers are ripped out.
. the entire neighbourhood will be taking it in turns to trim the lawn.
What a good idea. I'm surprised that neighbourhoods don't draw up rotas, to ensure that at least one person will be mowing at all times throughout the day.
Perhaps with short interludes for those who want to strim, or do the odd bit of chain sawing, and shredding.

If you would and make sure it is a winner this time-thank-you in advance
It seems very peaceful here today-empty houses, kids on school holidays-it is like a ghost street
It is like a ghost street here just me and one person with a very large amp.
Have this Daimler on me -take the cost out of my share of the winnings

I had forgotten about the extended olympic hours, thanks for the reminder.
I am not convinced it will be peaceful here, the entire neighbourhood will be taking it in turns to trim the lawn.
