Not sure at what point you joined the thread, but my baking cake skills are not exactly brilliant, as everyone else knows. You may not want a slice of my offerings. One was so bad Dean thought it was a yorkshire pudding!

Just fairy cakes and a big sponge. I wanted to do an apple cake, to use up some normal Golden Delicious I have, but didn't think it would work, so just a basic sponge.
