  • Good morning forkers image  The robin's awake in the garden and I'm on my second cuppa - got a trip to the dentist then work ahead of me.

Lottie, sorry to hear what a tough time you're all having image Hope things get better soon.

Looking at his past posts I don't think Clogherhead is Grid - but that was a very strange thread he started image

By the way, Clogherhead is a place in Ireland (Mr Google says so image)

  • Morning Dove, just waiting for my porridge and thinking about clearing the snow off the car! Brrrrrrr

    Morning forkers,

About 3 inches of snow overnight here. So used a snow shovel to clear some ground to put down some bread.

There's a heavy covering sticking to the trees which looks pretty.

Am hoping there was no horse in my egg this morning.

    Morning Forkers

No snow yet in Cambridge but in the meantime we have rain! Take care all of you in the snow areas - I know it looks pretty but can be dangerous image

Anyone watch the BAFTAs last night?

I hope you all have a good week and you just never know we might even manage to get out into our gardens at some point.

    S.

  • Morning Folks.

Gary, Don't like the sound of that snow, I'm heading down your way later this morning, so I hope it has all gone by the time I get there.image We have had a sprinkling here but it looks wet and there is no ice on the pond.

Have a good week fellow forkers, will catch up when I get back.

    Chris.

The main roads around here should be clear (but possibly slow). And everywhere does look pretty.

I watched BAFTAs last night. Think I would like Lincoln. I'd just watched National Treasure (adventure story about freemasons and the US constitition) on BBC3 just before - so was well into in that frame of mind.

    Morning

Difficult times lottie , hope treatment for your brother goes well and grandad care is sorted.

I didn't think anything wrong with poster either , odd question/statement but see the point also.

No snow here , all clear looks like a nice day ahead.

    Have a good day.

Morning everyone. Had a quick dash through posts . Went to visit daughter last night and things have improved although her temperature is up again . She will be having a scan and as review today so we are hoping that there will be some more news.

Lottie, I hope your brothers operation goes well and things improve in Grandads situation. What a diificult time for you. My thoughts are with you..

No snow here thankfully as its a bit of a hike to the hospital. Slight smattering on roofs but thats all.

Take care when you are all out and about and thanks for all your support. image

    Moning All.

Internet went down at 1.30 pm yesterday so have been bereft until this morning when I unplugged router and plugged it in again - as you do.

Cyber hugs to Lottie and Jean with their worries for others.

Oooh, dear, hope I'm not turning into spelling&grammar police image  As I said elsewhere, I love Dean's flamboyant way with the English language image image

Bjay, just as my connection went down yesterday I was posting about your Fairy Dell ideas. Would it be cheating to use plants from the Flower Fairies books? That would certainly give you quite a bit of scope!

    Greetings Earthlingsimage

It is getting harder to come up with novel ways to say hello in the mornings -might just revert to gruntingimage

Nothing much going on -didn't seem quite so cold this morning- more daylight hours things are on the upimage

For those who worry about these things or like to drop hints then Valentines Day is this Thursday- ignore at your peril-though it is hard to miss with all the red hearts and flower things everywhereimage
