Ooooh, smallswan, I could just fancy a pasty if they're not all booked. I haven't decided what to have for my tea yet.

Happy thingies to dog Cody and to Mr & Mrs G. I'm sure the steak etc will be very acceptable Geoff if Mrs G can put her feet up while you do all the cooking - and the washing up.

    Ironing? What's that, then?

Jo will explain about ironing- she is the ironing guru

    What is on tv tonight?

Sunshine here this morning--will take the opportunity to set 2 fenceposts in concrete before tomorrow's predicted rain. Think the deer have figured out my temporary fishnet barrier--I can feel them out there plotting. And there are telltale prints, but so far no harm done. Expecting my niece and her boyfriend on Saturday and Sunday--of course, rain is predicted then!

So do I rave about Heligan in this department or do I go to a special "Best Gardens I have visited" forum?  Well here goes: we chose the only dry 5 hours last week, and it was amazing (I know: those of you who discovered it decades ago will be glazing over at this point) - so amazing that OH was heard raving about it to some mates yesterday and he doesn't 'do' gardens.  The restored bit is a fantastic achievement, but the wild area and the Jungle are just lovely.  Want to go again.

Right now: queue up.  Steak and stilton for you FloBear, egg and bacon for Geoff, who have I forgotten?  Bon appetit ...

Smallswan, I would like the traditional low fat pasty.

Lottie are you expecting objections at the planning stage or do you need to raise cash?

Geoff did you wash up? Your twin was at Ascot today, she was wearing curtains as a homage to the solstice.

No footy, what shall I watch?

If you did not do the dishes, karma will come back and get you.
