I will send out my new mobile number tonight, when I get home.
I dont do texts, so ring the number if necessary. Google says I am an hours drive away, so unless I get stuck behind a tractor, I should be there on time.
Phillippa, we will do that! But ghosts are unhappy spirits, who cannot leave the earth until some great wrong is righted, and Geoff's spirit was that of a wonderfully content man, totally in tune with his surroundings, and with his great love of gardening. Therefore, I suspect he just went straight to the big garden in the sky, on a VIP pass. Whatever he has left will be there in the plants, and as Fidget points out, in his son, and probably in all the staff who work there and try to keep his spirit alive. I saw his son on the telly the other day, and thought how lovely it was that he was carrying on with his father's legacy. He must get a lot of pleasure from meeting people who are doing the pilgrimage to Barnsdale. Gosh, I am so looking forward to this!!

Just have to make sure we dont mistake him for Nick Hamilton. He looks an awful lot like his father.
