OK, listen everyone, I've sent three emails today to local transport companies and I am feeling VERY HOPEFUL..... so I want everyone to cross fingers, toes and eyes for the next few days that we get at least one helpful response!
Chicky, Break23, Ryan.... I think I have an offer to transport plants from Guildford / Camberley area to Somerset. Do you think you could get your plants to Chicky at Guildford, and Chicky could you be a staging post and then link up with the chap who is travelling Guildford to Somerset?
Okee dokee - that means I think we have sorted out the south east run, and also at least partly sorted out Nut's plants. Now, just need a solution for GJ's plants heading down the M6....
Probably not all, Nut - I think one small car boot-ful - but it's a start! And these are only volunteers....keep fingers crossed for help from transport companies....
..may I just say what a marvellous job you people are doing here, even though I am not a part of it,... you deserve at least some more general recognition of your combined efforts.... not least artjak for starting it off....where there's a will, there's a way, and greatly epitomised here I think....
