She shouldnt have much to grumble about should she Frank?
It's cold out there when walking into the NWest wind! I didnt care & wore some wooly gloves. Lots of sun, the odd shower threatening but none yet, & the wind is strong.
Last evening I'd fleeced up plants in the big coldframe, which I cant fully close because of the size of the not yet fully hardened off plants in there & also in my cold greenhouse. It didnt go down quite as cold as expected, thank goodness. Tonight supposed to be slightly warmer. J.
Wild out there today. Wind really strong, but funnily enough I didnt think felt as cold when first walking today- still wore the gloves though- until I started back home facing right into the wind!!
Sun sort of trying, Washing still on the line. It's about 10C out the back now, but because the garden faces East, feels a lot colder when out there today.
The only gardening done today was the opening of coldframes & staking a dahlia before it snaps, despite still being in a coldframe. J.
First post on the forum. Wish I could say the weather was better here but cloudy and dull... as ever!! Off to London this weekend, what's it like there??

In Nottingham we had a hail storm at 1pm. The temperature dropped to 5 C
Now its sunny and the garden table is steaming dry
Just popped out to the shops and a snow plough passed me.
I hope the council don't know something I don't about the weather.
Hailstorms on and off all day and a very cold wind in the highlands, that's why i am on laptop
