Stockton is dull although warmish, seems to be getting brighter from the coast so still an Easterly wind then. Today is Lamb, the Roast Potato's will be going in soon and the cauliflower Cheese to prepare as yet. Gardening? still a few days before early seeds Patience my friends.
It was dull but dry here today, there wasn't a chill in the air but wouldn't go as far as saying it was warm.
A good gardening day, got loads done, Finished digging in and mulching the veg and flower beds, planted out more garlic and started off onion setts in modules.
Sowed some more seeds too, haven't got your patience Frank. Pea's early were sown on kitchen roll last week and the tiny window propagator is full of various seeds. Leeks are up and at least two lots of flowers.
WManchester/SLancs. Today was a lot duller than the sunny yesterday & felt colder outside to me. No frost first thing today though.
Have spent 2 days trying to instill some sort of order into daughter's garden. New to her, but very neglected. Not a snowdrop anywhere, but some primroses, not polyanthus & signs of a few daffodil clumps. Lots of shrubs, some of which I've still to identify.
At least she realises it's not going to suddenly turn into a well tended/colour all yr round space without a lot of hard work! I have my instructions....... J.
