Hi Joe, good to see you have arrived. My first reaction on seeing our troll from way back on the Beeb boards was one of utter dismay. The good news is that we don't need to complain to the mods, we can just make the troll vanish permanently. Here's how:
Ignore another member
•We're sure you'll never need this, but if you really don't like a particular forum member, you can hide their posts and any threads they start, from your view of the forum.
•Do this by hovering over their name by a forum post, and clicking 'ignore member'; or by going to the 'Members I'm Ignoring' list in the Forum section of your My Settings page, and using the 'Add a member to your ignore list' button. You can also 'unignore' members from this page.
Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to message regarding recent forum postings. We do remove any posts which breach our forum code of conduct, which can be viewed here:

Good advice there
I have emailed the management.

Just ignoring someone will not make them go away.
I have done the same.
