    SHOUT OUT FOR DONATIONS!

Does anyone have any extra packets of seed that they would like to donate to flooded gardeners?  If so gardenjeannie (on this message board) has offered to be our Seed Collector.  If you send her (or me) a private message we'll let you have gardenjeannie's postal address - hopefully you can send her your gifts for the price of a stamp.  She'll bundle up and we'll get them down to those who are starting to sow pots and planters for people who've lost their gardens in the floods.

So... if you are not planning to use those free seed packets from the magazine... or if you have anything left over from last year that you won't be using.... or if you've sown all you want and still have half a packet left over.... WE CAN PUT THOSE SEEDS TO GOOD USE!

    Thank you everyone....

Stay strong Philippa.  This will pass.  Forecast is kind for the next few days, and spring is on its way.  I'm sending you some virtual daffodils down the wire from Wales to cheer you up.

Just for those that don't follow Twitter.  This is what just one gardener is facing (the farmer tweeting is the chap who appeared on Countryfile when the floods kicked off I believe.  The unbelievable images he posts showing us what is going on is quite shocking.
