    This thread is showing our ages. I must be around the same age as Swiss Sue and older than Verdun. Some of the programmes are totally unfamiliar, must be people younger than me or in 69 - 73 nurse training, no time for TV, mid 80s moved to France so no English TV until satellites got going.

    Agree with you Swiss Sue - Z-cars , in the early sixties, featuring young actors, Colin Welland, Brian Blessed, and Judith Dench - it was about the only programme that dragged me away from girls and football!
