Hello folks - we're home image  Glad none of you seem to have been blown away and that from a quick skim-read damage hasn't been too bad.image  I did a quick check of the back garden with a torch and apart from a stack of empty plastic pots rolling around I couldn't see anything untoward. image

We reached Nut's home safely without aid of a bulldozer or chainsaw, and had a lovely lunch and a natter with her and her lovely OH, and then a wander around the garden where there were lots of lovely smells and seed pods and late autumn blooms,  and much exclaiming over lots of cozy corners just crying out for a hedgehog to love them.  And we saw a Red Kite flying over Nut's gaden - that's two in one week for me image

And lovely Nut sent us home with packs and pods of seeds and some cyclamen coum image  I'm very happy indeed.image

Mine has a deep end with sludge in for hibernation, and a pebble beach so froglets/hedghogs can climb out. Every year a pair of mallards check it out in spring, but they go back to the canal in the end. We get visits from the heron when its frog gangbang time.

Sorry Stacey, no recipe. I get a box of chocs throught the post every month. I don't like Chilli, or rather chilli doesn't like me.

I'm told my chilli con carne is on the weak side, it does improve with the addition of an ounce of dark choc though.
